There was a time when HTC was considered one of the most unique smartphone manufacturers in the world. Over the years, Taiwanese society has lost its charm and is now near the bottom of the list. Last month, a design sketch of a new HTC Desire smartphone was doing tricks on the Internet. From its appearance, the HTC Desire 20 looks like a pretty decent mid-range smartphone.

Unfortunately, the specifications of the smartphone seem quite dated. The HTC Desire 20 specifications were recently listed on the Google Play console.

According to the list, the handset has the code name htc_bymdugl. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, which is disappointing because the chipset is almost a year old and is generally used in low-cost smartphones. The chipset will be topped with 6 GB of RAM, which, again, is a strange pairing.

The smartphone screen has a higher mid-range level written on it. Based on the leak, the smartphone will sport a screen with FHD + resolution and will work on Android 10 out of the box. HTC seems a little confused here with the specifications of the smartphone. Here is to hope that society discovers as soon as possible and regains its charm.

Other specifications for the device are still in progress. Continue to log in for more details.
